The campaign includes photographs with messages about the importance of periodic voluntary donation, to promote this altruistic act.

n the framework of the National Day of the Voluntary Blood Donor, which was commemorated yesterday, the Blood Bank of the Ushuaia Regional Hospital and the Foundation ‘Sonrisas Congeladas Ushuaia-Payasos de Hospital’ announced a joint awareness campaign, with the aim of ending with some myths, animate the population and show the local reality.
The leader in Voluntary Blood Donation Promotion, Elizabeth Ponce said that “we began to work since June”, and explained that “in contact with Gonzalo Montiel, the president of the Foundation; and from the hand of Alejandro and Carla, who are in charge of the artistic area; Together with the artists, actors and actresses that make up the total of the members of the Foundation, we started meetings and established work teams, where we set out the goals and objectives that we wanted to obtain from working together ”.
Ponce explained that “we thus seek to create educational content where we work to promote voluntary blood donation. The head of the Blood Bank Technical Unit thanked “each of the volunteer donors who are part of this great altruistic community. To them, our words of gratitude once again ”.

Ponce considered that “in 20 minutes, we managed to put into action everything that started with an idea, with a desire to find a way to help others.
