The first production series of the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models disappeared within a few minutes. In the future, this could be a very interesting investment, because Cadillac will never create similar cars again.

Cadillac recently introduced a pair of sharp sedans CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing, with which it evidently scored. Under their hood, it served customers one of the last ways to indulge in an extremely powerful premium sedan with a V8 engine, manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. And the reaction didn’t take long.
Shortly after the opening of the reservation system, the carmaker announced that the first production series of Blackwing models, limited to 250 pieces of each model, had disappeared in a short time. In the case of the larger CT5-V model, which is historically the most powerful model of the brand, it should have been just a few minutes.

„Reservations for the CT5-V Blackwing, the most powerful model produced in Cadillac history, were full in no time. Shortly afterwards, the reservations for CT4-V Blackwing were filled,“Said the carmaker’s spokesman for colleagues from Motor1. However, customers who have not made their reservation do not have to be disappointed.
Those who did not manage to reserve one of the first 250 cars of each model could at least sign the waiting list. Customers registered on this list will then be given the opportunity to order their model with the opening of another production run. But owners of cars from the first series will get something extra.

According to information from the Car and Driver website, the current Blackwing model line could be the last series of Cadillac V models to receive an internal combustion engine. And Cadillac also confirmed this information to colleagues from Motor1.
The current models of the V Blackwing series thus represent the last goodbye before the carmaker plunges into electrification. After all, GM said some time ago that it wants to end the production of internal combustion engines for its brands by 2035. And Cadillac should unfortunately be at the forefront of electrification. It can therefore be assumed that the first CT4-V and especially the CT5-V Blackwing produced will grow in price in the future.
