The blasphemy issue stirs up, YouTuber condemned by MUI – Police investigated

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Youtuber Muhammad Kece is alleged to have insulted Islam due to his controversial remarks. One of the misspelled words is greetings.

He changed the greeting from ‘Muhammad’ to ‘Jesus’.

“Assalamualaikum, warrahmatuyesus wabarakatu,” said Muhammad Kece in the video he uploaded on the Youtube channel.

In addition to greetings, Muhammad Kece also changed several sentences in Islamic teachings that mention the name of the prophet Muhammad SAW.

“Alhamdulillah, Jesus hirobbil alamin, all praise is raised for the presence of the Lord Jesus, the father in heaven who deserves to be praised and worshiped,” said Muhammad Kece.

Muhammad Kece even said that the yellow book taught in Islamic boarding schools was misleading and gave rise to radical ideas. In addition, he also called the teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad SAW is not true, so it must be abandoned.

“Because Muhammad Bin Abdullah is a jinn follower,” he said in a broadcast on Muhammad Kece’s YouTube account entitled ‘The Confusing Yellow Book’ which was uploaded on August 19, 2021.

He asked the authorities to arrest YouTuber Muhammad Kece because he was considered to have insulted Islam.

Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri also said it would follow up on this case.

“We will explore it,” said the Director of Cybercrime, Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri via a short message to detik.com, Saturday (21/8/2021).
