The BlackBerry 2023 movie explains to you how to reach the top quickly and also how to fall from it in an instant. Perhaps it is not the fault of the arrival, but in your realization that you are not at the top alone, and you must fight to keep your place because the top of the mountain cannot accommodate many.
The film begins with a state of dispersion between its heroes, including the founders of “BlackBerry”, Matt Johnson in the role of Douglas Frigen, and Jay Barchill in the role of Mike Lazaridis, “designer of the first BlackBerry phone”, each facing failure in his working life from debts, road faltering and lack of experience, until they meet with Glenn Howerton as Jim Balsillie, who puts them on a path to glory after being fired from his company for unprofessional work.
The scene turns to Balsilie resorting to Jay and Glenn, to achieve revenge after he was fired from his job by searching for a quick success that puts him at the top, by which he hides his failure in his previous job, from which he was fired.
The heroes of the story resorted to each other with different intentions, establishing a company that quickly captured 45% of the world’s mobile market in a matter of a few years. Perhaps it would not have been possible without Jay and Glen’s resort to Balsillie, who has a brilliant mind in management, marketing and negotiation, and also the latter’s resort to them after losing his job.
