If this futuristic-looking house reminds you of Darth Vader’s famous helmet, it’s not your imagination playing tricks on you. The man who designed and commissioned this house in 1992, a surgeon probably very fond of the George Lucas saga, did indeed design it with the helmet of the Sith Lord as a model. Once stunned by the outside, you step inside and there the show continues. The four bedrooms, the five bathrooms and all the other living rooms are covered with bluish neon lights, and the 650m² of living space is full of curiosities, such as this strange sofa with compartments which amuses Internet users. “The most antisocial sofa ever,” “I really like this sofa where four of us can sit and never interact,” they joked. The other source of amusement is the large glass facade, which reminds some of them of “company buildings in the 80s”.
Garage that can accommodate four vehicles, bedrooms with balconies overlooking the living room below, double staircase to access the floors and office with glass walls … The villa, very contemporary in style, obviously has its share of luxurious amenities, despite its eccentric identity and its surprising decoration, such as this large stone face reminiscent of Egyptian architecture. The style of the house is so particular that the advertisement sells it as “the ideal setting for a museum”. A museum, or a supervillain’s lair. “I’m sure it’s Lex Luthor who lives there,” another netizen speculated.
