Ereğli Police Department Traffic The police officer working in the Branch Directorate, married and father of 2 children, Mustafa Dönmez, was treated at home after he was caught in coronavirus on March 28. Dönmez, who was taken to Ereğli State Hospital 4 days later, was transferred to Bülent Ecevit University Health Application and Research Center on April 9. Dönmez, who started treatment in the hospital’s Covid-19 Intensive Care Unit, died in the night hours the previous day. The death of Dönmez, known for the images he warned the public against the coronavirus with the announcement he made from his team’s car last year, left his colleagues in sorrow. The body of Mustafa Dönmez was taken from the hospital morgue and taken to the Ereğli District Police Headquarters where he worked today. Ereğli District Governor İsmail Çorumluoğlu, Ereğli Chief Public Prosecutor Huzeyfe Yücedağ, District Police Chief Hakan Çelik, colleagues and relatives attended the ceremony.
