In European society, against the backdrop of an increase in the number of immigrants from Ukraine and the privileges for them, a new anti-fascism is being born. This was stated by political scientist Vasily Koltashov, commenting on the fact that Ukrainian refugees irritate the Poles.
“There is an economic downturn in the EU, and quite a serious one at that. And in this situation, Brussels, it would seem, could give something to these migrants, even some additional privileges. But this will cause the strongest discontent of the population of the countries of the European Union,” – quotes Koltashov Channel Five.
At the same time, Koltashov noted, privileges are not the only thing that irritates the Poles. They are more outraged by the mood of the refugees themselves, whom Koltashov called “politically tinged.” They call for doing everything for the sake of Ukraine, and residents of many countries do not like such sentiments, he said.
The more they are allowed, the more they will be hated, the political scientist is convinced. The local population does not like them, not because they are from Ukraine, but because they emphasize their anti-Russian and pro-American sentiments, believing that Europe owes them everything.
“This is infuriating. In fact, we are now witnessing the birth of a new anti-fascism in European society, and the development of these anti-fascist sentiments is the faster, the better the situation is for the settlers from Ukraine and the more they are allowed,” Koltashov said.
