“The Birds of Compostela”: A Theatrical Journey by Arnaud Pelletier, Traveling Show on Foot

Arnaud Pelletier takes his shows on foot, from village to village. And put down his suitcases in Lauzerte this Sunday, on the esplanade of the Barbican, at 5:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity for him to offer his traveling show “The birds of Compostela”.

Through a fabulous epic of birds, this great theatrical and poetic tale reveals the stages of an initiatory journey, where tales of wisdom and poetry resonate. Traveling through seven valleys, “The Birds of Compostela” invites us to encounter a path of wisdom, in a spectacle as inspiring as it is nourishing. Driven by a desire for simplicity, slowness, and intimacy with the public, Arnaud Pelletier thus participates in the ancestral and still living tradition of traveling theatre. Since 2021, “The birds of Compostela” has traveled more than 1,000 km on the routes of Le Puy and Piedmont, and since 2019, more than 1,700 km of shows have been carried on the paths of Compostela.

Show written and narrated by Arnaud Pelletier: www.arnaudpelletier.net
