The biggest youtuber offers himself as CEO of Twitter and his proposal convinces Elon Musk

After Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, the atmosphere in the social network is hotter than ever. His guidelines don’t sit well with much of the community, and this led to the famous poll in which Musk asked if he should step down as CEO at the company. After not coming out well, and probably before the voting starts, the mogul is immersed in the search for a new CEO for Twitter, and one of the ones he offered was MrBeast.

Content creator and philanthropist MrBeast expressed what his first move would be if he were chosen as CEO of Twitter. With more than 123 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, for a figure like MrBeast to lead a large part of the decisions on this platform would not be unreasonable, and given his proposal, it is very likely that one of his goals is to prioritize the creation of content on Twitter.

MrBeast usually makes very crazy videos where money is usually the protagonist. However, most of them are made for a good cause and each video raises the bar higher. In addition, he has also promoted dozens of initiatives to do something good for the planet, such as the goal of planting 20 million trees. Being CEO of Twitter would be another step in his growing careerthough that remains to be seen.

It all started when MrBeast asked this social network if he could be the new CEO of Twitter. After his tweet, Elon Musk replied that it’s not something that was “out of the question,” expressing it there would be possibilities.

That’s not all, but MrBeast also ventured to comment on what his first move would be once he took over the reins of the platform. And that’s it expressed the desire that content creators look to upload videos to Twitterand don’t use the social network as a speaker to simply post a link to another platform.

Elon Musk was in favor of this strategy, stating that “I couldn’t agree more”. This would mean that MrBeast it would focus some of its efforts on building a strong ecosystem for anyone who wants to share videos on the platform. This idea is not unreasonable, especially considering that video playback on Twitter has a lot of room for improvement and, as the youtuber commented, the platform only acts as a mouthpiece for content creators and not as a solid competitor against the other existing video services.

While we still don’t know who will be appointed to fill the position of CEO on Twitter, what is clear is that Elon Musk will continue to lead the platform for now, because even if he retires from this position in the future, he will continue to be the owner of the social network.
