CD Projekt Red has fixed hundreds of errors in the latest update of Cyberpunk 2077 for PC and consoles. Patch 1.2 is more than 40 GB on Xbox, 44 on PS4 and around 30 on PC. Stadia update comes later this week.
This may be the biggest single player update ever
This is the second of two major updates. It corrects hundreds of errors, prevents the game from crashing and improves the gameplay – and thereby also the quality of life of the players.
For example, the police will no longer be lurking behind your back as soon as you commit a crime, at least they will not be so annoyingly close.
A complete overview of the bug fixes can be found here.
CD Projekt Red launched the first major update in January, an update that laid the foundation for future repairs to the game. The latest update was delayed after hackers broke into the developer’s internal network. This forced the developer to postpone the release until the end of March.
Half done job
CD Projekt Reds is far from finished with the job, new updates will come. The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 late last year was a disaster. It contained a flurry of errors on all platforms. Sony even took the game down from the online store in December and began issuing full refunds.
