In the Cultura store, at the Toison d’Or in Dijon, we jostle each other, and for good reason: it is one of the biggest events of the year, just after Christmas. “We have been preparing since June“explains Jessica, one of the eight sales assistants in the stationery department.
“Adapted” spokes
“With the high traffic, we adapt the shelves, we make plots to have large volume put forward for the customer, so that there is no break“she continues. Salespeople adapt their shelves so that all products can hold, and replenish every day.
The stationery departments are set up as early as June, as is recruitment. “We are eight salespeople, we started recruiting in June, because the volume of work is very important” she says.
“Classic” products
“We will have all that is notebooks, sheets, pencils, moreover we sell a lot of pencils individually.“she explains.”Here we are on the last week before the start of the school year, so it promises to be intense“she concludes.
And what did you put in your basket? you were asked the question:
Cultura will maintain its stationery shelves until mid-September.
