North of U.S is about to experience one of the biggest snow and ice storms in years, according to AccuWeather. The phenomenon, which began to gain strength on Saturday, will have greater intensity from Tuesday to Thursday, Therefore, they have already begun to issue notices and warnings about the impact that it could bring.
Reports by experts indicate that this could dump one to two feet of snow in some places, in addition to having coverage that goes from southern Illinois to Atlantic Canada, heading to the main roads that include Interstate 95.
It is expected that northeastern Virginia and West Virginia, parts of northern Maryland, south-central and eastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, southeastern New York State, and southern New England, are the sites most affected by the storm, since a 12 to 18 inch snow fall is estimated.
So far it has been revealed that the storm will begin in the Ohio Valley and central Appalachians on Tuesday night and will spread to the mid-Atlantic on Wednesday, eventually arriving south of New England Wednesday night.

Forecasts show heavy snowfall that could accumulate up to a foot of snow in Boston; Providence, Reading, Harrisburg y Satate College, Pennsylvania; Paterson, Nueva Jersey; Middletown, NY; Hagerstown, Maryland; y Martinsburg, Virginia Occidental.
However, citizens of New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC, as a few inches of snow are expected to accumulate and gradually dissolve into sleet and rain.
