On Sunday, September 13, one of the closing events of the season “Youngtimer & Motul Coffeetime” of the AAK Youngtimer Rally section will take place at the Riga Motor Museum.
Youngtimer & Motul Coffeetime has already been approved by 200 classic cars and motorcycles from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The most interesting participants are Chevrolet Impala, Volvo 1800S, Citroën DS 23, Dodge Challenger, Alfa Romeo SZ and Ferrari 348tb. The list of all participants can be viewed on the website: youngtimerrally.lv. You will be able to see the participants’ glorious vehicles at the Riga Motor Museum starting from 10 a.m. to approximately. 13.00.
“It has already become a tradition of our event and Father’s Day to organize this event once a year at the Riga Motor Museum and Biķernieki track, where the atmosphere is just as created for such a celebration,” says Valts Ceplevičs, the organizer of the Youngtimer Rally.
“As every year, this time too, several cars and motorcycles that have never been seen before have applied. This year, due to the constraints of the gathering and in order to slightly reduce the number of participants, we have decided to stick only to the youngtimer models, but to leave the future classic models for the next season. Nevertheless, this will be the largest classic car event in Latvia in 2020. ”
Youngtimer & Motul Coffeetime aims to bring together all existing and potential participants, stakeholders and classic car enthusiasts in a joint event. It is a great opportunity to meet, talk, see vehicles, make new contacts and visit the Riga Motor Museum in a relaxed atmosphere and in a lazy Sunday mood.
As the name of the event suggests, the atmosphere of authentic vehicles will be complemented by various thematic coffee dealers and caterers: VanCoffee with the first generation Ford Transit, Pizza Bar GAZ 53 as well as RollingCoffee with a MINI coffee car and others.
Riga Motor Museum has taken care of a special FATHER’S DAY offer – by purchasing one of the family ticket sets, you will receive a code for the interactive museum game free of charge. “Journey through the history of the museum and the automotive industry” is a great game for the family, as you can choose from two games of different levels of difficulty, and in both games the tasks are difficult, from easy to trained eyes and imagination. Also visiting the museum and will have the opportunity to participate in the “Father’s Day greeting workshop”. The activity is available from 12:00 to 14:00 on the 2nd floor of the exhibition at the mailbox. The “Youngtimer & Motul Coffeetime” event is free for spectators at the Riga Motor Museum.
