The construction site lasted about eight months to completely renovate and redevelop this former car garage. Today there are 735 m² on one level and 1,000 m² of floor space.
This project, led by private nurses Rémy Cresson and Audrey Kikanoski, podiatrist podiatrists Lison Martien and Erwan Pécot, and general practitioners Aurélie Boulet and Frédéric Lecamus is a real success. Audrey Kikanoshi explains, all smiles, that the “situation is changing favourably”. She confides “to receive more and more people from Biganos but also from the surrounding towns”.

A project that appealed from the very beginning of its conception, since the number of cabinets planned inside the building increased from 10 to 22, thus accommodating various specialists (etiotherapist, osteopath, physiotherapist, psychologist, etc.) but also hotlines for members of the Arcachon hospital center (sports medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics gynecology, addictology, post-traumatic medicine, geriatrics, memory consultation) and the Mon bobo et moi association.

Facilitating and accelerating access to care is the objective of the Maison de santé. “We want to meet demand in the Basin. There are shortages and more and more people, ”says Audrey Kikanoshi. His collaborator, Rémy Cresson, explains for his part “want to complete a care offer already very present in Biganos, but also to extend it to the north of the Arcachon basin”. A desire supported by Bruno Lafon. “It is essential for fellow citizens to have a health offer coupled with specific health and a pharmacy. The population is growing and there are gaps. We are remedying this by creating this kind of structure. The idea is also to unclog hospitals thanks to a large panel of specialists.
