The big wheel is back on the Champ-de-Mars in Angoulême: the attraction has just arrived this Tuesday in spare parts. It will be mounted this week for an opening expected on June 28.
Last year, the Ferris wheel brightened up the square in Angoulême town center, promising a breathtaking view of the city from 40 meters high. “It is the same service provider and the same equipment as last year. Except that the operators took advantage of the confinement to give it a facelift”, explains Angoumois city councilor Philippe Vergnaud.
The Ferris wheel must start to turn on a Champ-de-Mars being revegetated this weekend. It should stay in place until August 8.
