The Big US Lie About Russia in the Ukraine War, What Is It?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia When it comes to conspiracies, the United States is always associated with it. Conspiracies can be in the form of fake news that is spread for certain political purposes.

Most recently, an NBC News report, three intelligence sources stated that the United States (US) Government had carried out several false information dissemination about the Russian attack on Ukraine. Reportedly, this was done by the US government to back off Russia and allied countries in their attacks and stop further maneuvers in Ukraine.

The three NBC sources began to reveal some information that was actually not true. First, information related to Putin who was said to have been misled and lied to by his close aides regarding the war in Ukraine. Intelligence confirms that this cannot be confirmed with certainty.

Information about the circle inside Putin lying to him is inconclusive,” he said, quoted Sunday (10/4/2022).

The next false information is about the involvement of China which the US says will provide assistance to Russia. According to the source, this can not be proven with certainty. According to intelligence, this method was used by the US government to give a warning so that the Chinese government would not interfere.

“U.S. officials say there is no indication China is considering providing weapons to Russia. The Biden administration issued it as a warning to China not to do so,” they said.

Even so, these sources prove information attacks like this are admittedly successful. They said Moscow had planned to attack Ukraine before February but canceled because the US had given advance warning.

“The greatest success of the US information attack may have been delaying the invasion itself by weeks or months,” the sources said.

There has been no further comment from the US on this matter. The Russian side also did not provide a new statement.
