The Municipality of Sofia warns of a new organization of traffic in connection with the construction of a third metro line in the section of the western roadway on Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. between Silistra St. and Yanko Sakizov Blvd.
From 00:00 on February 1, the following changes in traffic organization will be introduced, as follows:
The entry of road vehicles on the western roadway of Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. between Silistra Street and Yanko Sakazov Blvd. is prohibited, and the movement of vehicles will be carried out in both directions on the eastern roadway of the boulevard in the same section of the boulevard;
The penal parking lot of “CGM” in the dividing strip of “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi” blvd. between “Silistra” st. and “Yanko Sakazov” blvd. is closed. The movement of vehicles will take place on “Silistra” street one-way between “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi” boulevards and “Chamkoria” street in the direction of “Chamkoria” street.
From 8:00 a.m. on 02/01/2016 to 12:00 p.m. on 02/01/2018, the hourly paid parking spaces on the eastern roadway on Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. between Yanko Sakazov Blvd. and “Silistra” and along the western roadway of “Prof. Milko Bichev” between Gen. Blvd. “Danail Nikolaev” and “Silistra” Street;
From 4:30 a.m. on February 1, the route of bus lines No. 11, 213 and 404 will be changed only in the direction of the railway station. “Geo Milev”, g.k. “Mladost” and zh.k. “Druzhba” – the lines will move along their route to the intersection of Gen. Blvd. Danail Nikolaev” – “Prof. Milko Bichev”, to the right on “Prof. Milko Bichev”, along the eastern lane of “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi” Blvd. and along its routes.
The stop “pl. Orlov Most”, indicated by the Center for Urban Mobility under the code name “1289”, 100 m ahead of its existing location on Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd.
This part of the New Traffic Organization in Sofia will be in force until the end of 2018.
