It’s about the best new generation at DIE “Große” KLAPPE. In 2020, 3 teams of young creative people from Germany and Switzerland entered the race with ideas for Kärcher, Toyota and Vodafone. With the support of the film productions CZAR and TP Film, three very different films were made. In the end, a head-to-head vote decided. On the YouTube channel of the German Marketing Association, the films for Vodafone – “Giga Your Life” and Toyota – “Bank Robbery” were ahead of the game, but the votes of the expert jury from DIE KLAPPE weighed heavier in the end and so the film for Kärcher ” Street-Gang! ”By Lea Baustian and Lennard Liegmann (both LLR, Hamburg).
“That was a tight and very exciting voting right up to the last day! In 13 years at KLAPPE, I have never experienced anything like that, “comments Katharina Stinnes, responsible for the awards of the German Marketing Association.” Despite all the adversities we had in implementing the ideas in 2020, three really excellent pieces of work were created! This is of course also thanks to the productions and post-production such as CZAR and TP Film, which support us every year in the young talent project. We would like to thank you very much for that! “
The young talent competition DIE “Große” KLAPPE is the chance for young talents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to show customers and colleagues what they can do creatively. The winners will travel to the next NEW YORK SHOW℠ – World’s Best Advertising®.
Here are the finalists’ newcomer films in detail:
“We are happy for and with the young filmmakers. We were immediately enthusiastic about this approach to presenting our cultural sponsorship. Lea Baustian and Lennard Liegmann tell an exciting, refreshingly new story, “says Bernd Rützler, Executive Vice President Corporate Marketing and Brand Management at Alfred Kärcher:
The competition entry by Lea Baustian and Lennard Liegmann is a slightly different introduction to the documentation of the professional cleaning of two landmarks. What seems to start as a “sprayer gang” ends as a “clean affair” for the Berlin Cathedral and the Bismarck statue in Hamburg. The film was produced by CZAR Film Hamburg.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPbcO5jAD4U
Vodafone: This competition entry by Julian Fischer and Jonas Roßner tells about Tina. Tina was left behind on progress. Communication always works much worse than with other people and their everyday life apparently consists only of delays. All of this changed suddenly when she ventured into the Vodafone GIGA network, which was produced by Tony Petersen Film, Michael Duttenhöfer.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5O-rbxlPXU
Niels Klamma, General Manager Brand & Marketing Communication, ToyotaGermany: “In times when the focus is on marketing digitization, you can clearly see how important really good creation is. Because no well-adjusted tech stack can generate emotions and thus penetrate people’s hearts. That is why Toyota is very happy to support DIE “Große” KLAPPE and we look forward to the great results every year “
The film by Désirée Stocker and Joel Siegfried from Bern uses a humorous approach to explain the advantages of the new city-compatible commercial vehicle. The bank robbers don’t just load the loot into the car. When the loading area is not full, they also grab the big houseplant and other nonsensical things … Hard to get full: The Toyota Proace City with a payload of up to a ton. The film was produced by Nepomuk Pfaff, CZAR Film Hamburg.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDh9ASYU5X4
