“The Big Bang Theory” is one of THE recent sitcom phenomena that many fans enjoy watching again and again. However, this is only possible with an Amazon Prime Video subscription this year.
It’s hard to believe that the finale of “The Big Bang Theory” was over four years ago now. The sitcom hit about the nerd clique of Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Co. has had a decisive influence on pop culture over its twelve-year run and is still omnipresent. And that is unlikely to change any time soon in the coming years.
Repeats on television and the flexible availability on streaming services, where “TBBT” is still very popular, entice numerous fans to watch it again and again. But at least with Amazon Prime Video, this will soon no longer be so easy. The twelve seasons of “The Big Bang Theory” are only included in the Prime subscription until December 31, 2023, so even customers of the service will be asked to pay afterwards if they want to continue streaming the series on the platform.

21 to 22 episodes of “Big Bang Theory” every day on Prime Video
Starting today, December 19th, Prime subscribers still have 13 days to stream the 279 “Big Bang Theory” episodes on Prime Video at no extra charge. That’s an average of 21.5 episodes per day. Since the episodes are between 18 and 22 minutes long (around 20 minutes on average), you would have to carve out a little more than seven hours every day for the next two weeks.
That’s definitely sporty, especially considering that you probably have a few other things to do at Christmas. However, it is not impossible, especially because many people have time off between the years and could possibly spend more than seven hours a day bingeing “The Big Bang Theory”.
We keep our fingers crossed for everyone who actually gets involved in this marathon. If you enjoy your series in a more relaxed way, you should just see how far you can get… or use one of the alternatives…

“The Big Bang Theory” is currently available in its entirety not only on Amazon Prime Video, but also on Netflix – and will continue there until next year. At least we don’t have any information yet that the sitcom on the platform with the red N will disappear in the near future. In addition, it cannot be ruled out that the comedy hit will soon find its way back into the Prime subscription after a break. This is certainly not uncommon with licensed titles on Amazon.
Apart from that, you can of course also use the DVD complete box* to put “The Big Bang Theory” on your shelf and watch it at any time, regardless of any streaming services.
