After the Fête des Lumières 2021, the mayor therefore decided to organize with his team the first edition of the water festival, called “Between Rhône and Saône”. The objective is to highlight the two rivers that structure the city, in particular the peninsula with a Place Bellecour located halfway between the two rivers. Rivers anchored in our history and our roots.

The “Between Rhône and Saône” Water Festival: nearly a hundred activities
Thus, the inhabitants of the capital of Gaul will be able to enjoy nearly a hundred activities. For example, a giant parade will wander on Saturday from the Place des Terreaux to the Guillotière bridge.
In addition, you can enjoy two ginguettes on the lawns of the Berges du Rhône and Île Barbe.
Around the dock of Confluence, many nautical activities will highlight the games, with rescue boats.
In addition, the company will offer the projection of a show on the Saône. Entitled DéRives sur la Saône, this light installation will move with the current.
