The Poco F3 may be a Redmi K40 under another name, but that is not why it is less interesting. The arrival of this highly anticipated smartphone on the world market brings with it the philosophy flagship killer that the brand wants to keep at the center of its market strategy.
When the Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 + were announced less than a month ago it clearly said that this was the type of hardware I wanted to see in Portugal. Well, does it look like I have the wish?
As I said, the Poco F3 is none other than the Redmi K40 and, therefore, its characteristics are already very well known. They start with the excellent AMOLED FHD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. This is an excellent high-end E4 panel, with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, HDR10 + and MEMC technology. In terms of multimedia, the screen will not be alone: it is accompanied by two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos for an above average usage experience.

At the heart of this smartphone is, of course, the Snapdragon 870. An evolution of the Snapdragon 865, the Snapdragon 870 reaches a speed of 3.2GHz and is accompanied by UFS 3.1 and RAM LPDDR5 memories, with which the performance is frankly optimized.
In the photographic department, the Poco F3 offers a 20MP front camera, accompanied by a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 5MP macro.

So, is this smartphone bestial enough to succeed? Poco calls it the “real beast” and, for this price, they may not be far from the truth.
