Burgas hosts the XXIX National Competition “Traffic Policeman of the Year”. The opening took place at the Maritime Station – Burgas with the sports and competition program starting.
The candidates competed in three disciplines – masterful driving of a car, masterful driving of a motorcycle and providing first aid to an injured person (practical exam).
The Director of ODMVR-Burgas Senior Commissioner Emil Pavlov officially opened the event, and among the guests were Chief Commissioner Atanas Ilkov – Director of the Main Directorate “National Police”, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency “Road Traffic Safety” Maria Lazarova, Deputy the mayor of Burgas Diana Savateva, the regional governor Plamen Yanev, the deputy general director of the BCK Dr. Nadezhda Todorovska, Ilya Seliktar – the ideologist and organizer of the first competition, gen. Rumen Milanov – police chief and main organizer of the first competition from the National Police Directorate, Radi Petrov – chief. secretary of the first competition, etc.
