Fashion week is not only played out on the catwalks but also in the streets. And on the sidelines of the shows, the actors of the fashion industry gave us to see a festival of structured, inventive looks, of associations of materials and prints.
The python print, must-have for Fashion Week
If there is one pattern that stands out this winter at New York Fashion Week, it’s the python print. Bold and sophisticated at the same time, this animal motif seems to win all the votes: in total-look on a suit, on thigh-high boots or ankle boots with heels, on a fluid pleated skirt or leather pants … the python prints its scales on the parts of the winter locker room.
If it comes in a wide range of colors, it is mostly found in classic tones: brown, beige, camel or gray.
However, other animal prints are not excluded. We find, by small touches, the tiger print and the crocro print on boots or coats oversize.

Comeback of neutral colors
On the chromatic palette side, these style icons have bet on minimalist looks and sleek nuances. Neutral tones – white – denim – camel – black – gray – brown and pale pink were in the spotlight with patent trench coats, suits, blazer dresses, jumpsuits and faux fur coats. Ideal shades for fans of sober, chic and timeless looks. Monochrome looks were also in the spotlight: undoubtedly, immaculate white reigns supreme over many outfits, from leather ankle boots to retro berets.
The lively notes were not put aside, however. We find pink, sometimes fuchsia, sometimes powdered, on XXL coats, structured suits or blazer dresses, even in the hair of some. Orange, meanwhile, is a total-look for the most daring, while the wisest bet on a fanny pack to illuminate a black jumpsuit or a turtleneck to enhance a brown suit.
The coronation of leather
In the midst of the crowd that lives in the Big Apple, one material stands out: leather. On pants, mini-shorts, a jumpsuit, a suit or a little black dress, there was something for everyone. A rock aesthetic with a nineties spirit, which energizes the look in no time. A trend that everyone agrees.
