Their models, such as the Octavia, Golf or Yaris, are very popular among drivers and their sales are rising every year. Despite this fact, however, a completely different brand took first place in the ranking of the best-selling car in Europe.
Skoda, Volkswagen and Toyota are out of the game
If you asked different drivers which car is the best-selling car in Europe, most of the answers would be similar. In the first places Škoda, Volkswagen and Toyota models would compete with each other. These brands are of great interest. In the first place, however, came a completely different brand, this time from Romania. Dacia Sandero won the ranking of the best-selling car in Europe.

Its big advantage is the price
The price of this model has a large share in these sales, which makes it more affordable than many of its competitors. Dacia started selling this model called Sandero in 2008 and continues to do so to this day. This model belongs to the class of small vehicles from the Renault Group. Its production takes place in three places, namely in Romania, Brazil and Colombia.

There are a number of motorizations to choose from
Older Dacie Sandero models offer different engine variants. In used vehicles, drivers can choose between two diesel and the same number of petrol engines. However, with the new models, the motorization has changed significantly. There is now a choice of three petrol engines or a version with LPG. The former are marked TCe 90, TCe 90 CVT and SCe 65. The first two types have three cylinders and an output of 66 kW, while the engine designated SCe 65 has an output of 48 kW.
