The first Bernauer Open Air cinema series has become a cultural summer highlight in Bernau am Chiemsee with beautiful summer evening weather, with live music, food trucks and a picnic feeling. Hundreds of locals and holiday guests enjoyed the good mood in the spa gardens of Bernau with cinema highlights on several evenings. In the green town center, various film genres from classics to Bavarian crime comedies were shown on a big screen after sunset. Popcorns as well as fish on a stick and cool drinks contributed to the right atmosphere. The series of events was rounded off by artist and band appearances until the start of the films. You could make yourself comfortable on the camping chairs or picnic blankets you had brought with you.
The open-air cinema evenings were organized by the Bernau Tourist Information Office together with the open-air cinema specialists from the Wimmer event agency.
