The best Italian is from Sint-Truiden

Culinary guide Gault & Millau announced the scores of the new guide in Brussels on Monday. There were few surprises for Limburg. Slagmolen in Oudsbergen and Ralf Berendsen in Lanaken still top the list. Some notable newcomers are The Greek (Beringen), Bonnetti’s (Hamont-Achel, instant 14 points), De Tafelaer (Kuringen) and Le Philippe by Danny Vanderhoven in Lanaken (not to be confused with the Philippe in the slightly more prestigious Alken). One individual award went to Limburg: l’Angelo Rosso (Sint-Truiden) is the Italian Restaurant of the Year.
