Like every year, Indian splits a limited series Jack Daniels on one of his motorcycles. But, surprise, there is also something new inside
Not even in a dream: it is not for us, this Indian Springfield Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s: the good names who lead us want our good and, Evin law obliges, we cannot sell a machine which promotes a lemonade. A lemonade of a special kind; since the Jack is renowned worldwide for embodying Tennessee whiskey. In all, only 177 copies will be produced and, thanks to Claude Evin, none for us, sometimes this machine awakens our most primary impulses and makes us immediately fall into unbridled alcoholism, and this even though the bike is endowed with a “throttle and bottle don’t mix” badge.

Indian Springfield Dark Horse 116 Jack Daniel’s: America’s Best?
The partnership between these two legendary American brands is nothing new. The Springfield Dark Horse thus equipped has a unique gray and black color, as well as a quickly removable windshield, and an embroidered Jack Daniel’s badge on the saddle. But what is also interesting, is that it no longer has the engine 111 but a block 116 (1890 cc), which shows that Indian is following Harley in the displacement race (Harley has 114 and 117 for CVOs). And if the power is not revealed, the block 116 develops 167.04 Nm of torque, which begins to be copious. So, if we are not entitled to this limited series Jack D., this perhaps foreshadows a mechanical evolution of the next big Indians.
