According to experts, the Japanese Honda CR-V 2012 release can be safely called one of the best crossovers in the budget up to 1.5 million rubles. If we consider among new cars, then the choice will be extremely small: Niva or UAZ. Expert “Behind the wheel” Sergey Zinoviev believes that the Honda SR-V is not inferior to the Toyota RAV4, which is in demand in the Russian Federation. For an amount of 1.5 million rubles, you can find on the “secondary” the third generation of the model, released in 2008-2012.
The version with a 5-speed “automatic” is distinguished by a long resource: without serious breakdowns, the transmission can last up to 200 thousand km. The car is available in both front- and all-wheel drive versions. The crossover of those years is difficult to find with “mechanics”, and the variator was not at all in the equipment. The gasoline version of the model with a 150-horsepower naturally aspirated 2-liter R20A engine has proven itself best. The diesel modification of the model has a shorter resource and causes a lot of complaints, while the gasoline engine for the most part does not cause problems, with the exception of the timing chain tensioner.
