On Sunday, June 19, Valmiera “Welders” – Edgars and Jānis Kaufmaņi, Jānis and Jurģis Engeri – won the first place in the competition of 12 teams in the Rūjiena stage of the Latvian 3×3 basketball cup. In the final they beat “3×3 NERK” with 21:15. Edgars Kaufmanis was recognized as the most valuable player.
