Including previews, “No Time to Die” had recorded 11.4 million kroner at the beginning of the weekend, writes Today’s business.
On the day of the premiere on Friday, the amount was NOK 7.68 million. “Specter”, which was released in 2015, recorded NOK 7.63 million for comparison, while “Skyfall” recorded NOK 5.69 million when it had its Norwegian premiere in the autumn of 2012.
In total, during the premiere weekend, the film gave around 22.6 million in revenue to Norwegian cinemas, according to the industry organization Film & Kino.

The premiere weekend is the most lucrative for any film in Norway ever before “Avengers: Endgame”, according to the industry association.
The premiere day of “No Time to Die” is also the most lucrative for a film in Norway since the premiere of “Frost 2”, which recorded NOK 7.99 million in 2019.
“It is very gratifying that the cinemas already after full reopening seem to have taken back the position at the top of the audience’s consciousness and that people have been waiting to be able to enjoy the cinema experience again with one of the biggest movie icons on the cinema screen,” says Guttorm Petterson, CEO director of Film & Kino.
But that was before the pandemic, and on Christmas Day 2, which is traditionally one of the best premiere days in Norwegian cinemas, writes DN.
