The Best Airlines to Travel in 2023: AirlineRatings.com’s Top 25 Ranking

The list of the best airlines to travel in 2023 included three Gulf companies, according to the report issued by AirlineRatings.com last week.

Air New Zealand topped the list of the best airlines for this year, ahead of Qatar Airways, which came in second place.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the Emirates, ranked third on the list of the best airlines for 2023, while Korean Air came fourth, and Singapore Airlines ranked fifth.

This comes after two years of a decline in air travel in the wake of the Corona pandemic, and despite the recovery in flights during 2022, this recovery has caused many pressures on airlines worldwide due to a shortage of workers.

Commenting on this classification, the editor-in-chief of AirlineRatings.com, Jeffrey Thomas, told CNN: “2022 was a difficult year in general, as most airlines suffered many pressures during that period.”

Discussions are still going on about the continued pressure on the sector during the current year, in light of the uncertainty surrounding the sector, and whether air travel will witness greater stability this year, according to Thomas’ statements.
