Najdi camels
Al-Shehri said that studies were conducted on Najdi camel meat and revealed that it contains 76% water, 20% protein, and less than 3% fat and much less than beef meat.
Fat percentage
He added during a video clip: “Studies have found that camel meat contains healthy fats, omega-3, and unsaturated triglycerides, and there is little fat between the muscles.”
Anemia
He added that camel meat is one of the richest sources of iron in meat, and therefore it is beneficial for all who suffer from anemia, and it is one of the meats rich in amino acids, which are present in a balanced manner.
The difference between camel and cow meat
The family doctor said that camel meat is rich in vitamin B12, which is necessary for activity and metabolic processes, and is better than beef meat, and the best type of animal meat.
Cholesterol
Al-Shehri concluded his speech by saying that every 100 grams of camel meat contains only 57 milligrams of cholesterol, while beef meat contains 74 milligrams.
