Divided player Belgian national team from World Cup 2022 it continued after five players reportedly bought their own plane tickets to fly home early from Qatar.
The internal conflict started to emerge since Kevin De Bruyne claimed that the Belgian team was too old to lift the 2022 World Cup trophy. This happened after Belgium could only manage a 1-0 win against Canada in the first day of Group F.
