Desotec, specialized in activated carbon, announces the creation of a new site to support its development. The Belgian company confirms its investment project in Hauts-de-France, in the industrial area of Ruitz, within the urban community of Béthune-Bruay Artois-Lys Romanesque. The idea? To be able to have a new dedicated production site for the French market.
This site takes place on 6 hectares, with no less than 8,500 m² built for the first phase. All management of the site will be done through 90 employees and, in the long term, nearly 150 jobs are announced with a development of approximately 6,000 m² additional. The overall investment for this project is 70 million euros for phase 1, work should begin in early 2024, with commissioning guaranteed in 2025.
