There will be 150 tons of water in the arena during the performance! However, umbrellas and raincoats will not be useful to spectators.
Even in the history of the Soviet circus there were projects with water and fountains. But if previously water became only a background for the artists, the new program is unique: it combines a water show with numbers, making the artists’ task many times more difficult.
There will be 150 tons of water in the arena during the performance. As organizers note, during the show a light drizzle can reach approximately the third row. Therefore, spectators can leave their raincoats and umbrellas at home. “I specifically sat in the first row to check when the fountains were working,” he shared his opinion director Belgoscirka Vladimir SHABAN. – There is a light touch of water there, so to speak, water vapor, a light breeze. I think that it will be pleasant for those spectators who will sit in the first, second and third rows, because the magic of the fountains is magic.”
Also in the program, the viewer will find many other bright numbers not related to the water element. For example, bears will surprise you with their tricks in the arena, monkeys will race past the audience on bicycles, and brightly plumed parrots will wave their wings in a friendly manner. There will also be a funny clown who will invite some spectators to go out to the arena.
“The Magic of Fountains” is one of the shows in a series of anniversary projects of the Belarusian State Circus, which will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year. The final chord will be the Third Circus Festival, which will take place in the fall. As Vladimir Shaban said, despite the sanctions, artists from different countries are eager to get into the Belstate Circus. Therefore, fans of circus art have many impressions ahead.
