The Bee Gees return to the movies: almost everything is ready for the filming of their biopic – Good morning, Javi and Mar!

The next blockbuster is sure to have a soundtrack we all know. The Bee Gees, the group that swept the 1960s and reached the peak of its popularity thanks to the film ‘Saturday Night Fever’ starring John Travolta will finally have its biopic. After the overwhelming passage of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, which told the story of Freddie Mercury, and recently ‘Rocketman’ starring Taron Egerton and in which part of Elton John’s career was shown, it is the turn of the ‘kings of the disco music’.

The British group formed by the Gibb brothers will have a film to tell their story and it is already known who will take over the leadership. The actor and director Kenneth Branagh will be in charge of bringing this story to the big screen and reflecting the life of a group that absolutely swept everything: more than 220 million records sold support its success.

Ben Elton will also participate in the film, as has been rumored, who already wrote the script for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, making it one of the most watched films in recent years. As for the protagonists, it is not yet known who will be chosen but it is rumored with the participation of Bradley Cooper in one of the most important roles in the film.

The brothers formed one of the most stable and long-lasting bands since they debuted together in the 60s, until 2003, when one of them, Maurice, passed away. At that time they tried to continue with the race as a group but different situations made that finally, after several television appearances, they ended the story of the Bee Gees.

Now it will be the cinema that will return this group of brothers, surely, to the ‘most listened to’ lists. We will have to wait a bit to see it and to know more details but these advances are promising.
