JAKARTA – The attack on two soldiers of the Intel Kodim 0304 / Agam was carried out by a gang of Harley Owners Group (HOG) motorcycle clubs in Siliwangi Bandung Chapter. At least four people have been named as suspects in the incident.
Regarding this, Commissioner of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Pudji Hartanto hopes that this incident will not happen again. He also asked big motorbike clubs (moge) or the like when doing touring must keep the traffic discipline.
“For large motorbike clubs and the like, traveling long distances and requiring officer escort or without escort, officers must discipline traffic,” said Pudji in his statement received. Okezone in Jakarta, Monday (2/11/2020).

Traffic discipline is meant to follow the existing regulations. Starting from stopping at a red light or something. Then, according to Pudji, this motorbike convoy action is regulated in Article 134 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning LLAJ.
There it is stated that the convoy of vehicles entering is part of the road users who have the main right to take precedence according to the consideration of members of the Police.
“Then, Article 135 states that for the purposes of Article 134 the convoy must be guarded by members of the National Police, use signal lights, the signs do not apply to motorized vehicles that have primary rights, and the police are obliged to secure it,” said the former head of the National Police Corps.
He continued, motorbike riders must comply with the speed limit and have ethics when driving. So don’t feel as an exclusive group.

The victim turned out to be a member of the Intel Kodim 0304 / Agam. They are Serda Mis and Serda MY who work in the Intel Kodim 0304 / Agam, West Sumatra.
As a result of the beating, Serda MIS suffered a ruptured upper lip, while Serda MY had bruises on the back of the head. After the incident, the two TNI AD non-commissioners were immediately taken to the Army Hospital to get treatment for the injuries they had suffered.
