Piers, dog beach, order and cleanliness all serve the beach experience.
The beach season officially starts on June 1st, so life will pick up on Dunakesz’s free beach. Already in the past few days, we have felt the effect of the heat, the attraction of the Danube, but summer is only now really starting. However, it is worth following some written and unwritten rules so that the minutes and hours spent on the open beach pass pleasantly for everyone.
In recent years, the Municipality of Dunakeszi City has continuously developed the area it purchased in 2016, where it also maintains a section of the beach for those arriving with dogs. Therefore, we ask that visitors please follow the rule made last year as well this year, it is not allowed to walk, stay, or bathe with dogs on the boardwalk and on the upper part of the free beach, keeping safety and tranquility in mind. For those arriving with dogs, the lower part of the beach has been set aside, next to which there is also a buffet, so that you can really enjoy the beach and relaxation with your four-legged pet.
The sunbeds are for relaxation and sunbathing, jumping into the water is prohibited and dangerous. The sign posted on the site also draws attention to this. We ask everyone to use the piers as intended for your own safety.
This year, the beach guard is also taking care of order and cleanliness during the daytime hours, please help their work by following the rules. Lifeguards can be found on site on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and on weekends and holidays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Feel free to contact them in case of problems, accidents or comments.
We wish everyone a pleasant summer!
