The Batgirl film will be directed by the team of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the duo who directed the 2020 film Bad Boys for Life.
According to information from The Hollywood Reporter, Arbi and Fallah to direct Batgirl movie starring Barbara Gordon. The film is planned as an HBO Max project, although we do not know without this will imply that the film will waive the theatrical release. Christina Hodson, writer of Bumblebee and screenwriter on Birds of Prey and The Flash, will be in charge of writing the script for this Batgirl film.
