VITORIA, 17 (EUROPA PRESS)
The Basque Government has approved this year’s call for aid for the design of transversal collaborative research and development projects, endowed with 1.2 million euros from the Lehendakaritza Innovation Fund.
This sum will be distributed equally among three eligible lines: Healthy Aging, Electric Mobility and Circular Economy, each of which will be endowed with 400,000 euros.
As a novelty, the aid is intended to finance only the design phase of the driving projects, which, moreover, may be the result of the integration of different applications that are submitted.
The grants will have a maximum amount of 25,000 euros per application, and are addressed to those entities with the capacity to lead this type of project, including the scientific-technological agents of the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation, the organizations that promote clusters, companies, non-profit entities constituted as associations or foundations, and public entities and companies.
The projects that are presented must meet minimum requirements regarding their thematic scope, total budget and minimum number of participating entities, as stated in Decree 118/2022, of October 11, which regulates the aid program.
The period for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the resolution of the call in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country and end on April 21, 2023.
