The Barcelona Metro will close again at 2.00 in the morning on nights from Saturday to Sunday from this week, as well as on Fridays and holiday vigils, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) reported this Tuesday in a statement.
The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) and Tram lines will also offer service until 2.00 am, so that the hours of the three railway operators will be from 5 to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays until new indications, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM) this Tuesday.
On the other hand, the Nitbus of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) and the night buses of the Generalitat will offer 100% of the service, as before.
With this decision, the ATM adapts to the decision of the Procicat to establish the maximum closing time for bars, restaurants, cultural activities and all kinds of nightlife at 00.30 hours to stop social interaction and infections.
In addition, TMB has advanced that it will continue to adapt the service to meet mobility needs according to how the health situation evolves and nightlife is regulated in the coming weeks.
