In particular, the social housing sector, which has shown great resilience, has a real capacity to accelerate its investments. The entire range of Banque des Territoires’ financial systems has already been deployed: € 700 million in Participatory Securities subscribed by the end of 2020 with particularly notable issues from the Hautes-Pyrénées OPH, of Seine-Saint-Denis Habitat or Pas-de-Calais Habitat, high-balance sheet loans, property dismemberment arrangements (nearly 2,000 housing units engaged in Tonus Territoires, already 37 operations with Solidarity Land Organizations, the Bail Réel Solidaire), long and very long-term loans for renovation, particularly energy, and construction.
For Olivier Sichel, director of the Banque des Territoires: “ Housing is one of the major axes of the recovery plan of the Caisse des Dépôts group. The support of the Banque des Territoires for social housing actors is part of this massive mobilization. Our ambition is to help accelerate the sector’s dynamics in favor of more sustainable and inclusive territories. »
