United States Dollar (USA) registered to continue to strengthen. From Reuters data dollar AS recorded at Rp 15,254 or increased by 0.89%.
From detikcom monitoring on different banking sites dollar AS already sold for Rp. 15,500. Like Bank Danamon, which has set a sell rate of Rp. 15,515 and a purchase rate of Rp. 15,015.
Then on the DBS Bank website it was recorded that the sell rate was set at IDR 15,479 and the purchase rate at IDR 15,010. Panin Bank’s sell rate is IDR 15,275 and the purchase rate is IDR 15,250.

Also, on the BNI website, the sales rate per US dollar is Rp. 15,286 and the purchase rate is Rp. 15,266. So on the BCA website for e-Rate, the sell rate is IDR 15,279 and the buy rate is IDR 15,259.
As for the TT Counter, the sell rate is IDR 15,396 and the buy rate is IDR 15,096. For banknotes, the selling rate is Rp. 15,396 and the purchase rate is Rp. 15,096.
The head of the monetary management department of BI, Edi Susianto, explained that until this afternoon almost all Asian currencies have weakened against dollar AS.
He said that this meant that the sentiment comes from the strengthening of the US dollar against almost all currencies.
“Today’s trigger is the Fed official’s first statement that gives the impression that the Fed will still remain aggressive,” he said.
