The Banda el Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga concluded a weekend in different places of the Mexican Republic and the United States.
The tour began on May 26, when the musicians traveled from Mazatlán, Sinaloa to Chihuahua, to be present at the traditional Santa Rita Fair 2022, where hundreds of Chihuahuans packed the palenque of the fairgrounds.
The next day, the so-called ‘Mother of all Bands’ arrived in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, to offer an unforgettable night with a massive concert in the ‘Miguel Hidalgo’ main square, in which thousands of Tamaulipas enjoyed their great successes and where Sinaloan musicians felt happy to be in that place.

The musicians then traveled to Medford, Oregon, to perform at the Medford Armory Auditorium, which was packed with hundreds of Mexican countrymen who excitedly vibrated with their presence and their songs.
These three presentations were the prelude to two important events that would come later, since on Sunday the 29th, a crowd and therefore a new ‘Sold Out’ received them at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena in Los Angeles, and sharing the show of ‘The Destroyers of Memo Ocampo’.
The concert became a great Mexican party and in which people did not stop dancing and singing the hits of the Band, in this emblematic place where El Recodo has been an important part of its history.

And to close the long and successful day, the members of La Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizarrága moved to downtown Los Angeles, to surprise the followers of Grupo Firme at the Sofi Stadium and appear as special guests at their concert, causing the euphoria of those present who, incredulous and excited, saw, for the first time on the same stage, two of the most important groups in Mexico singing several of the emblematic hits.
And so they sang songs like I miss you more and more, You’ll cry for me, penalty after penalty, The great Pachanga to close with a memorable interpretation of I know that you will remember.
The scoop was that the two groups came together to perform The replacement, the song they recorded together and that this May 31 will be released worldwide on all digital platforms. All this was possible thanks to the excellent friendship and mutual respect that has arisen between the leaders of both groups, Poncho Lizarrága and Eduin Caz.
