Singles Storm follows a song released last year Heart dancewhich won the hearts of many listeners and Musical banks 2019 voted the most valuable song of the year 25.
The band members discover that the songs were created by exchanging instruments. “Pianist Kristīne created the drum rhythm, while drummer Mārtiņš sat at the piano,” laughs the group’s soloist and songwriter Elizabete Vētra. For her, this is the first composition written from A to Z in Latvian.
“This tense time has proved that life tends to flow over us in bigger and smaller waves. Sometimes it is easy to hold on, sometimes it is almost impossible. This piece is an attempt to show that we can also learn something important from the waves of our lives,” says Vētra. “In a way, I hope this song will be useful to someone as a tool to help them deal with unpleasant emotions, say goodbye to them, and say ‘thank you’ for a lesson.”
The creative concept and editing of the video was created by the band’s drummer and the show Voice mask manager Mārtiņš Spuris. “It simply came to our notice then Storms The element of the visual story is two different worlds. One is what we show other people. The other is our inner world – how we really feel. Often these worlds do not match, and we feel lost, unbalanced. In the storm “We try to find a way out of this mirror and make our two worlds overlap and we are in harmony with ourselves, both internally and externally,” says Spuris.
The song was produced and recorded by Reinis Kārkliņš (Aleja Records), which is also Frank frank singles Heart dance a You Look So Good producers.
Frank frank has released two small albums and several singles, collaborated with Reini Sējāns, Arstarulsmirus, Normunds Rutulis, Artūrs Jenotas. The group has performed at major domestic festivals – Positivus, Summer Sound, Playground -, as well as warmed up the concerts of foreign artists Tom Odel and Jesse Vera in Latvia.
