This weekend, the newly formed will start with games in Vilnius and Tartu Baltic Hockey League, which will be attended by two teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
In the group tournaments in Tartu and Vilnius, the four best teams will be determined, who will play in the final tournament in Rēzekne in the middle of December to determine the strongest team in the Baltics.
HK “Liepāja”, Vilnius “Hockey Punks” and Estonian team HC “Everest” will play in Vilnius group. On Saturday, the Liepaja team will play with Everest at 16.00, but on Sunday with the hosts “Hockey Punks” 18:00. Tartu group HK “Mogo”, “Kaunas Hockey” and Tartu Välk 494. The first game HK “Mogo” is scheduled for Saturday, at 18:00 against “Kaunas Hockey”, but on Sunday, at 16:00, opponents will be home to Tartu Välk 494.
The games from Vilnius will be available to watch live video on Hockey Lietuva channels on YouTube and Facebook platforms, but the games from Estonia will be available on sport.postimees.ee.
Both Latvian teams go to the competition with only one goal – to win the games and get a ticket to the final tournament. The two best teams from each group get a ticket to the final tournament in Rēzekne. During the tournament, epidemiological requirements will be strictly followed and the team will adhere to the developed Covid 19 protocol – a separate floor in the hotel and restaurant, separate team areas in the arena, wearing masks and other requirements that will ensure safe running of the tournament.
