In a journey in which the guard of honor is a prominent theme, Xavi Hernández left an interesting reflection on the subject. The Barcelona coach confirmed that the Blaugrana will make one against Betis, who won the Copa del Rey.

“We are going to make an honor guard for Betis because they won the Copa del Rey. It’s not a humiliation, but it’s teaching our young people the importance of fair play. I myself have had to make one against Real Madrid in the past and I have never felt a problem with that”, he explained.

It is recalled that Atlético Madrid has already publicly announced that it will not make one against Real. The Merengues were crowned champions last weekend, succeeding the Colchoneros.
