Novak Djokovic, world number one and defending champion at Wimbledon, beat Canadian Denis Shapovalov this afternoon in the semi-finals and will have a chance to retain the title.
Domingo Djokovic will face Italian Matteo Berrettini in the final, after beating Shapovalov, who had never gone so far, by 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 and 7-5, after two hours and 47 minutes.
Berrettini makes his debut in the final, while the Serbian is expected to win Wimbledon for the sixth time after 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
