Fernando Santos’ list for the Qatar World Cup will have 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders and 7/8 midfielders and forwards. The 26 chosen will come out, from the beginning, of the 44 names that we publish here. Now the ‘goldsmith’s job’ is missing, with 80 percent of the choices made and there are six doubts.
It should be remembered that Portugal are playing today, against Spain, for the League of Nations, the last official match before that of Qatar. There will also be a friendly against Nigeria on November 17, but it will be here that the list of 26 players called up for the World Cup finals will be known.
A list that will not be very different from the current one. It would not make sense, in fact, that it was not so, when we are less than a month and a half from the start of the race.
