Manchester City unveiled a statue of Sergio Aguero on Friday. The tribute comes ten years after Aguero’s unforgettable goal against QPR, at 90+4′, which sealed the victory of the 2011/12 Premier League for Manchester City, 44 years after the last title.
Located on the east side of the Etihad Stadium, the statue of Aguero was created by renowned sculptor Andy Scott, similar to what he had already done for Kompany and David Silva.

It turns out that on social networks, the assessment of the statue quickly spread and how the figure is very similar to the German Toni Kroos, from Real Madrid.
The German joined in the joke and even reacted, on Twitter, to the sharing of a post by a BBC journalist: Simon Stone published a photo of the statue of Aguero with the caption ‘Sergio is here’. Kroos challenged: ‘Are you sure?’

There are several side-by-side montages of the statue and Kroos with the same facial expression and the resemblance is really hard to ignore.
